Kia ora, my name is Eldon Whittaker, and my wife Leslee and I are so grateful to be able to work here in the Ruakaka and Whangarei area, assisting families at a very difficult and challenging time.

I have worked with many families over the years, and my goal is to assist families to organise a funeral that will honour those they love, while honouring the wishes of those who have passed on.

I was raised in Moerewa, and my parents are from Umawera, in the Hokianga.  My parents left a great legacy for my siblings and I, a legacy of love and kindness, as well as instilling in us a strong work ethic based on integrity and honesty.  We are the parents of six amazing children, and three beautiful grandchildren.

Hi everyone, I'm Leslee, born in the Waikato, raised in Auckland, but think of myself as a Northland Girl.  My grandparents had a farm in Pakaraka, and as a child spent each holiday in the north with them.  I'm grateful for the beauty of the north, and the friendships and love of the people here.

Our life revolves around our family and our faith.  We have lived in the Whangarei area for over 20 years, and after much consideration have decided to open our own funeral home. We welcome opportunities to help families as they navigate the loss of a loved one.

We feel that we are able to offer a personal approach to the services we provide.  We will stand beside you through this process.

We are thrilled to have a brand new building in Ruakaka, with a mortuary, viewing room, and space for the family to meet together.

We are also available to meet with groups to discuss the Funeral Services we can provide, and answer any questions groups may have.  We do this as free gift to the community.
